Discrete‐time systems with slope restricted nonlinearities: Zames–Falb multiplier analysis using external positivity

نویسندگان

چکیده

This article exploits positive systems theory in the search for Zames–Falb multipliers analysis of discrete-time Lurie systems, where nonlinearity is assumed to be slope-restricted. Although a similar problem has been tackled continuous time context, results take different form and require somewhat approach overcome certain technical problems. The work two compelling features: (i) arising algorithms are completely convex; (ii) numerical compare well with state-of-the-art some cases, providing least conservative result one instance.

Stability Analysis of Nonlinear Systems with Slope Restricted Nonlinearities

The problem of absolute stability of Lur'e systems with sector and slope restricted nonlinearities is revisited. Novel time-domain and frequency-domain criteria are established by using the Lyapunov method and the well-known Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov (KYP) lemma. The criteria strengthen some existing results. Simulations are given to illustrate the efficiency of the results.

Systems with Slope Restricted Nonlinearities and Neural Networks Dynamics

The quite large standard class of additive neural networks is considered from the point of view of the qualitative theory of differential equations. Connections with the theory of absolute stability are pointed out and a new class of Liapunov functions is introduced, starting from the positiveness theory (Yakubovich-Kalman-Popov lemma). The results are valid for a quite large class of dynamical...

Stability of Descriptor Systems with Sector and Slope Restricted Nonlinearities

This paper considers the stability problem of Lur’e type descriptor systems (LDS) with sector and slope restricted nonlinearities. The concepts of global index one and strongly absolute stability are firstly introduced. Then by using S-procedure and matrix inequality approach, two sufficient conditions for LDS to be strongly absolutely stable are derived. It is shown that such conditions also g...

Improved asymptotic stability analysis for Lur’e systems with sector and slope restricted nonlinearities

In this Letter, we propose new criteria for asymptotic stability of Lur’e systems with sector and slope restrictions. The criteria are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequality which has full block scaling matrix. By interpreting the criteria in the frequency domain using KYP lemma, the less conservativeness of the proposed analysis method is investigated. Furthermore, we analyze the dynam...

Stability Analysis of Discrete-time Lure Systems with Slope-restricted Odd Monotonic Nonlinearities

Abstract— Many nonlinear dynamical systems can be written as Lur’e systems, which are described by a linear time-invariant system interconnected with a diagonal static sector-bounded nonlinearity. Sufficient conditions are derived for the global asymptotic stability analysis of discrete-time Lur’e systems in which the nonlinearities have restricted slope and/or are odd, which is the usual case ...
